• Dr. George KarystianisGeorge Karystianis has a Bsc in Computer Science and Biomedicine, a Msc in Biohealth Informatics and a PhD in Clinical Text Mining. Currently he is pursing his interests in text mining and epidemiology at the Institute of Poppulation and Health collaborating with Dr. Goran Nenadic and his team, Prof. Iain Buchan and John Ainsworth. For his work in the mining of key characteristics from epidemiological studies related to obesity, he was awarded with the best student paper in the International Symposium on Languages in Biology and Medicine 2011 (LBM'11).
